Gibb’s Farm is a luxury lodge set on the forested slopes below the Ngorongoro Highlands in the region of Karatu, overlooking the Great Rift Valley. Located between Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, it is well positioned for northern circuit safaris.
Originally established as a coffee plantation in the 1920s, the lodge retains the feel of a working farm, surrounded by gardens, coffee fields and forest.
Accommodation is in spacious cottages, including family units, each with a private veranda, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, fireplace and indoor-outdoor living space.
The main farmhouse includes the restaurant, lounge and bar, with meals prepared using produce from the organic gardens. Guests can also enjoy a swimming pool, spa, farm walks, forest hikes, cultural visits and Wi-Fi in the main areas.
